Visiting Research Fellows

Academic staff and Post doctoral researchers from any University within the UK and the rest of the world, are invited to becoming an Visiting Research Fellows working from CRESC, at either The University of Manchester or The Open University. This appointment will involve no payment, but offers you formal attachment to the University and CRESC and access to research facilities such as the library and the Information Systems Services. CRESC will provide desk space (subject to availabilty), and access to office, library and computer facilities.

If you are interested in applying to become a CRESC Visiting Research Fellow please send your CV and an one page research proposal to the Centre Administrator. Your proposal needs to be linked to one of CRESC's research themes in ways which demonstrably support and advance the theme. Visiting Research Fellowships can be awarded from any period from one to six months, and Fellows will normally be expected to (a) submit a CRESC working paper for consideration at the end of the tenure (b) take a role in research workshops or events as arranged with the theme convenor.
