Registration Hours

The registration desk will be situated in the Maplethorpe Building Foyer Area. The Maple Thorpe Building is situated in the middle of the grounds of St Hugh's College and will also be used for the plenary sessions, some open sessions and the bookfair. Disabled access is available for this building.

Fees
The conference fee covers attendance to all academic sessions, plenary sessions, meetings, the bookfair and receptions. Refreshments and lunches are also included. The conference fee excludes dinners and accommodation – but both can be booked using the booking form. All speakers are entitled to a £25 discount.

We recommend that those planning to attend the CRESC 2006 Conference return the Booking Form promptly. The booking deadline for the CRESC conference 2006 is the 23rd June 2006. Registrations received after this deadline but before the 18th of August will incur an extra cost of £50. Registrations received after the 18th of August will not be accepted.

Reduced fees are offered for speakers, moderators, and organisers of sessions. There are also concessionary fees available for students, unwaged and retired scholars (proof of status is required).

Please download the booking form, complete it, note our cancellation conditions, and return it with your payment to the address at the bottom of this page.

NB We strongly recommend that for your own security you print the form out and return it to us by letter post.

Payment Information

Credit or Debit Card
We accept payments by Visa and Mastercard. Your payment will be processed in pounds sterling (£). Please note that we cannot accept payments by Switch, American Express or Diners Club cards.

If you would like to pay with a Credit Card please fill out, sign and return the Credit Card Form.pdf (Credit Card Form.doc ) to us at the address at the bottom of this page.

Cheques
We accept payments in: pound sterling (£) cheques drawn on the London Clearing House; US dollar ($) checks drawn on the New York Clearing House (exchange rate @ 1.85); euro ( €) cheques (exchange rate @ 1.46).

We cannot accept cheques in currencies other than pounds sterling (£), US dollars ($) and euro (€), or postal orders. Cheques should be made payable to 'University of Manchester'

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received in writing before 11 August 2006 will secure a refund of half the registration fee. No refunds can be made for cancellations received after 11 August 2006. Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds for accommodation bookings at St Hugh’s College.

Please note that the conference administration only accepts written cancellations.

Registration Receipt
The registration receipts will be included in the registration packs at the conference. If you require a receipt before September, please contact Josine Opmeer at CRESC

Withdrawals
If you are obliged to withdraw from the programme please inform the Conference Administrator immediately in order to allow time for finding replacement speakers.
