The What Is Black British Jazz? research team based at The Open University is presenting a panel of four papers at these venues:

- Center for Black Music Research, Thursday, 14 April, 1 - 3pm: Stage 2, Columbia College Chicago, 618 South Michigan Avenue, 2nd Floor, Chicago, IL
- Chicago University, Friday, 15 April, 1 - 3pm (venue tbc): Center for the Study of Race, Politics and Culture
