My research investigates the political, economic and social embeddedness of ethical banking in the UK and Germany. It utilises elements from Social Network Analysis to illustrate and analyse interaction within the ethical banking sector and with other financial institutions in both countries. This is wollowed by an assessment of the political economy relating to those institutions which aims to help us to understand the dynamics within this area of banking.
