Some information about me
Profile
-
My research interests cover the broad area of public policy, focusing on the use of private finance and market mechanisms in public infrastructure and service delivery particularly in transport and healthcare. The research uses accounting and financial information as well as national statistics as its evidence base to evaluate public policy decisions and practice both in the UK and internationally, and contribute to political economy debates.
Ongoing projects include:
- The development of Public Private Partnerships in roads in the European Union: how the development of a market impacts on the reporting of and accountability for taxpayers' money
- Economic, social and political implications of Public Private Partnerships
