I am continuing my research into the political economy of the international system and the theme of 'globalization'. In particular this now concentrates on two main areas. The first of these concerns the nature of ‘global corporate citizenship’: what does this category mean and how it is being constructed – and by whom -- in the international system? The second concern is with the possible limits to the present phase of globalization, particularly in terms of the way the international financial system may evolve after the credit crunch of 2008. Here it is the relationship between supra-national regionalization and globalization that is the focus.
