I am based in Politics in the School of Social Sciences at Manchester.  My chief research area is the government of economic life, and I have a particular interest in the politics of business, especially of big business.  I write about the politics of business across a wide variety of national settings.  I have also written extensively about the politics of regulation, and on British politics more generally.
