An Ethnography of Road Building in Peru

This site contains information about an ESRC funded research project on road building in Peru, that the anthropologists Penny Harvey and Hannah Knox have been working on since 2006. We've divided the site into two areas. The first has information about the project itself and links to papers and other publications to come out of the research. The second is there to provide some of the historical and ethnographic detail about the two roads that were the focus of the study.
