CRESC publishes very widely in both academic and non-academic format. The links on this page will take you to our different kinds of output, which range from books, through book series and our Journal of Cultural Economy, to reports and newsletters.

You'll find all the academic publications by CRESC members and affiliates here including books, edited books, journal articles, book chapters and working papers.

CRESC prepares an Annual Report for its core funder, the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) detailing its work for the preceding year, and its strategy for the forthcoming year.

CRESC works very closely not only with academics but also with sponsors and with stakeholders. In addition to our academic output, we are also proud of our policy and user-relevant research reports and briefings.

Since 2005 we have published over 100 refereed working papers covering all the areas of our research interests. Recent topics include banking and finance, the social life of method, and the BBC World Service.

Our Newsletter offers updates on CRESC themes, visitors, and conferences, with contributions from within and beyond CRESC. It also highlights current projects. The Newsletter appears twice a year.

This series publishes innovative, empirically-based, and theoretically informed research that critically examine how social, cultural and economic change is framed and made visible.

The journal is an interdisciplinary forum for exploring economic, social and material cultural practice. It has published on the performativity of the economy and the social and the distributive nature of economic and social agency.
